Eid-el-Maulud: Olawepo-Hashim felicitates Muslims, preaches peace, urges FG on security
The 2027 Accord Party Presidential Candidate and leading presidential hopeful, Dr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim, has felicitated the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Eid-el-Maulud.
In a statement issued in Kaduna on Monday by the PR and Media Manager of GOH-FRONT 2027 State, Sharifudeen Ibrahim Muhammad (Dan Jarida), on behalf of the Coordinator, Hon. Aliyu Mohammed Kachan (Achili), Olawepo-Hashim urged Muslims to reflect on the virtues of compassion, tolerance and service to humanity as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W).
“As we celebrate the birth of the Noble Prophet, let us emulate his teachings of peace, forgiveness, and generosity in our daily lives,” he said.
The Accord Party flagbearer said Eid-el-Maulud should be used to strengthen family bonds, reach out to the needy and promote peaceful coexistence among Nigerians of different faiths.
“Peace has no alternative, and it is imperative that we strive for harmony and understanding among all Nigerians,” he stated, adding that Nigeria’s diversity demands mutual respect regardless of religion or background.
Dr. Olawepo-Hashim also called on the Federal Government to tackle the nation’s security challenges with renewed vigor.
“The security of life and properties of Nigerians is non-negotiable,” he emphasized.
He further urged Muslims to pray for peace, stability and prosperity for the country and its leaders.
The presidential hopeful reaffirmed his commitment to working towards a better future for all Nigerians.
He concluded by wishing Muslims a peaceful and joyous Eid-el-Maulud celebration.
